My life before the Gateway of Hope had a feeling of hopelessness. I had to move from the place I was living due to ongoing renovations and I had nowhere to go. I was introduced to the Gateway of Hope and that is when my new life started.
I have been living at the Gateway of Hope for one year now and my new life includes taking my grade 12 courses. I also completed my Food Safe training at the facility.
My life is back on track, I have a purpose, I have goals that I am working towards; I have a routine and a schedule now. I have a life, thanks to all the help I received from the Gateway of Hope. I have come a long way and I continue to grow each day I am here.
It is easy to make a real difference in a life.
